The beanie pattern was inspired by a knit one.

Although the pattern says one size , it is easily customizable. Increase the length of the ribbing to make it bigger and decrease to make it shorter.

The half double crochet worked in the back loop provides the ribbing for the brim , worked sideways. The ripple band is also worked sideways and joined to the brim as you make it. The subsequent section is worked in the round and the hat is cinched at the top to make up the crown. Adding a pompom adds a perfect touch to the beanie:)
