“THE STITCH pattern on this tea cosy depicting the sun, a flower or a star has been modified from a traditional stitch pattern known in Finland and in Estonia,” explains designer Outi Kater. “Two rounds of two-colour braiding are worked after the cast-on, and the top is finished with a three-needle cast-off.” Outi has knitted her tea cosy using Jamieson & Smith’s classic 2ply Jumper Weight Shetland wool, which comes in a huge choice of colours.
