Martha Cowl
This pattern was designed for Design Wars “Luster Sheen” challenge in August, 2015.
Materials:
• Red Heart Luster Sheen yarn, or any weight category 2 yarn. 3 oz of main color and 1 oz of additional color(s) for the inside of the squares
• US E4/3.50 mm hook
• Tapestry needle
• 6 shank buttons
Pattern notes:
There are two layers crocheted separately and then sewed together with a few stitches at the back.
The outer layer is made by 5 squares with join as you go method.
Additional options for the pattern:
• Use the inner layer as a headband
• Use different colors for the inside of the squares
• Add fringe and you have a toddler poncho
