In the Summer 2018 Cast On, I designed a side-to-side sweater named “Angelic.” Oversized yet cropped, it has become one of my favorite staples which always garners complements. I wanted to explore this silhouette further.

Martha utilizes intarsia worked flat from the hem up, employing Dolman sleeves. Very generous ease is paired with a cropped length, resulting in a sophisticated casual look that is comfortable without being frumpy. The bust and natural waistline of all body types are accentuated, making it a youthful, modern piece. With only two charts, the overall motif looks more complicated to knit than it is.
