Marlena Ribbed Skirt
Discontinued.

Perfect tailoring, adorable fluted edge and form-fitting ribbing!
The flounce of this skirt is created in rows, using back-loop only stitches for a stretchy ribbed fabric. Stitches of increasing height are stacked along the bottom edge in order to create the ruffle. After the fabric is worked long enough to wrap around the hips, it is seamed into a tube. Then the waistband is worked bottom-up, using alternating spike stitches for firmness and stability. Chain loop button holes are created at the end of marked rows, and the very last step is to reinforce the upper edge of the waistband (so that the skirt doesn’t shift when you wear it).
34-54” hips, any length
