Marja Slippers are fun and fast to knit! Also a perfect gift since the flexible heel fits different shapes and sizes of feet.
The bobbles on the lace pattern remind me of our lovely wild berries hence the name “Marja” (=berry).

Slippers are knitted toe up with a garter stitch heel.
The pattern is written for Magic Loop knitting so there are only needles 1 and 2.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: 
One skein of Tukuwool Sock
(80 % Finnish wool 20 % polyamide , 160 meters / 175 yards per 50 gram).

Needles: 
US 2.5 (3mm) DPNs or circular needle for Magic Loop knitting.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.

Other notions: 
Tapestry needle.

GAUGE:

24 stitches and 20 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch (after blocking).
