Use DK, fingering, sport or even lace weight - works with solid or semi-solid, but is particularly effective when worked with gradient yarn as you can see from the photos here.

The original yellow one was made for Marion, a wonderful Grandmother and Great Grandmother - I’m releasing the pattern as a tribute to her - link to project page for that one.

The lace looks fancy, but is surprisingly intuitive and knits up very quickly.

Several options are included so you can make the best use of your available yardage.
