Marinella
This is a nice shawl that is not worked in the usual triangle formation, it is worked from the bottom up. It starts with the feather and fan stitch, which I really like and the rest of the pattern seemed to grow naturally out of it. The waviness of the stitch makes me think of the sea, hence the blue color and the name Marinella which means “of the sea”. This shawl knits up fairly fast and the patterns is pretty easy to catch onto. I used Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino because I wanted something heavier than a lace weight and I like working with it. Of course you can use the yarn of your choice.
