Marina shawl is knit back and forth. You start at the tip an knit as shown in schematic and ends with 76 cm/30». The shawl is shaped with increases and decreases on the edge of each side. MC is knit on both sides, CC is worked in lace on right side and knit on wrong side.

Knitting tension is not essential for the shawl, but if you want the shawl to be the same size as listed, make sure that you have the correct gauge. You can work a swatch in garter stitch.
