Mariko Scarf
This is a cats paw pattern worked on a diagonal. Whether it is worked in a handpainted yarn, sophisticated black, or fine handspun, it is sure to turn heads.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Size: 8” wide by 80” long.
Gauge: 28 sts = 4”/10 cm (measured in stockinette stitch knit flat).
Yarn: Fingering weight yarn, 650 yards (16 wpi).
Sample used hand-painted Henry’s Attic Carrera from Heritage Spinning and Weaving in Lake Orion, MI.
