 yarn: 100 yds for the main color, 50 yds for the tulip flower, and 50 yards for the stem & leaves.

The pattern is written for a child, but, with extra yarn and modifications, it can fit a larger head. Add 18 stitches to the cast-on and increase the length by a 1” to 1 1/2” inch before and after the slip stitch pattern, and you’ll end up with a hat suitable for a teen or adult with a circumference of 20.6”.
