Marie Curie
An icon in the field of science, made famous for lending her name to the UK’s leading end of life care charity, Marie Curie was a Polish-French scientist, best known for her pioneering research into radioactivity and its use in medicine. She is also the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific categories! Find out more about her story and crochet the doll to match with this collectable kit from TOFT. Designed by Kerry Lord, Marie Curie was the seventh instalment in the ‘Making Women who Made History’ series and Ed’s Dolls Club crochet subscription.
