Marie socks feature a diamond lattice pattern created by slipped stitch and slip stitch rib for the sole. They are worked cuff-down with a heel flap and gusset. For the stitch pattern, I would especially recommend that check your gauge before knitting a sock. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorial links are included.

Foot and leg length: adjustable
Recommended fit: approx. 3-4.5 cm / 1¼-2“ of negative ease, in foot circumference. Sample shown in size 2 with 4.5 cm / 2“ of negative ease in foot circumference.

34 sts & 44 rnds = 10 cm/4” in stitch pattern at foot, blocked

Note: The gauge of the stitch pattern is more important in this pattern.
