El Top María Luisa está inspirado en la Infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón, donante de los jardines del palacio de San Telmo a la ciudad de Sevilla (España) para la construcción del parque que hoy lleva su nombre.

Tiene una construcción top-down sin costuras. Comienza con un montaje provisional a partir del cual se teje la espalda en plano hasta la axila. A continuación, se retoman los puntos del delantero izquierdo y se va dando forma al cuello a la vez que se teje un sencillo calado. Después se repite con el delantero derecho. Al terminar la construcción del cuello, se unen los dos delanteros que se seguirán trabajando hasta la axila. Seguidamente, se unen delantero y espalda para tejer en circular el cuerpo que termina con algunas vueltas del calado y un cierre en picot. Para rematar el top, se levantan puntos en el pecho (justo al terminar el calado) y las sisas y se hacen unos volantes calados, también rematados con picot. Por último, se levantan puntos en el cuello, se hacen unas vueltas del calado y se cierra también con picot.

Encayarns (50% alpaca, 25% lino, 25% seda) (400 m/100 g) o cualquier hilado de grosor fingering de composición similar.
En la muestra se ha usado el color Green Moss.

The María Luisa Top is inspired by the Infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón (a member of the Spanish royal family), donor of the gardens of the palace of San Telmo to the city of Seville (Spain) for the construction of the park that today bears her name.

It has a seamless top-down construction, beginning with a provisional cast-on from which the back is worked flat down to the underarm. Then, stitches are picked up for the left front and the neck is shaped while working a simple lace. This is then repeated for the right front. At the end of the neck shaping, the two front pieces are joined and are continued down to the underarm. Next, the front and back are joined to work the rest of the body in the round, finishing with a few rounds of lace and a picot bind-off. To complete the top, stitches are picked up around the chest (just at the end of the lace) and the armholes, to create some lacey ruffles, which are also finished with a picot bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline, a few rounds are worked in the lace pattern, and then this is also finished with a picot bind-off.

Encayarns (50% alpaca, 25% linen, 25% silk) (400m/100g) or any fingering weight yarn with similar characteristics.
The sample shown used the colour Green Moss.

• 2.75mm circular needles (or one size smaller than your main needles).

Il top María Luisa si ispira all’infanta María Luisa Fernanda di Borbone, della casa reale spagnola; è stata lei a donare alla città di Siviglia i giardini del palazzo di San Telmo per la costruzione del parco che oggi porta il suo nome.

Questo top ha una costruzione top-down senza cuciture; si inizia con un avvio provvisorio e si lavora in piano il dietro fino al giromanica. Poi si raccolgono le maglie per il davanti sinistro e si sagoma il collo eseguendo un facile punto traforato, quindi si ripete la stessa lavorazione per il davanti destro. Alla fine della sagomatura del collo, si uniscono le due parti del davanti e le si continua a lavorare fino al giromanica. Si uniscono poi il davanti e il dietro per lavorare in tondo il resto del corpo, terminando con pochi giri a punto traforato e una chiusura a picot. Per completare il top, si raccolgono le maglie intorno al petto (proprio alla fine della parte traforata) e ai giromanica per creare delle balze traforate che saranno poi rifinite con una chiusura picot. Infine, si riprendono le maglie intorno al collo, si lavorano pochi giri a punto traforato e si chiude sempre con la chiusura picot.

FILATO
Encayarns (50% alpaca, 25% lino, 25% seta) (400m/100g) o qualunque filato fingering con caratteristiche simili.
Per l’esempio mostrato è stato usato il colore Green Moss.
