Margret Shawl is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the bottom and up. You begin by working the border, combining lace and cables.
The body is then worked with German Short Rows and decreases in stockinett stitch with an addition of a cablepanel in the center.
You finish with an icord bind off.

The shawl is one size but can easily be made bigger or smaller by adding or decreasing number of cable panels in the border or by knitting with a thicker or thinner yarn.

This shawl requires circular needle size 3.5 mm, cable needle, tapestry needle and stitch markers.

The pattern is best shown in a solid or slightly variegated yarn, you could also knit the border in one color and the body in another. You will make use of 150 to 200 grams of yarn in fingering weight.
