Marettimo
Marettimo is a relaxed lightweight summer sweater, knit in the round from the bottom up and featuring a simple feather and fan lace detail at the hem and sleeves. The front and back are separated at the armholes and worked flat with short row shaping at the shoulders. Named for a small island off the coast of Sicily, this sweater is the second in my series of designs (Tegna is the first) named for Italian towns where I dream of wearing them someday.
If you need help choosing your size please see my note at the end of this description!

Sizes:
Measurements given are for the finished garment. This sweater is designed to fit with 7-11” 18-28 cm of positive ease at the bust and 2-3” 5-7.5 cm of positive ease at the
upper arm.
XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X)
Bust circumference:
40 (43.25, 46.5, 49.5, 52.5, 55.5, 58.75)”
102 (110, 118, 125.5, 133.5, 141.5, 149) cm
Sleeve circumference at upper arm:
12.5 (12.5, 13.5, 14.75, 15.5, 17.5, 19.25)”
Note on sizing! To choose the right size, measure yourself (or the intended wearer) around the largest part of the bust. You will want to choose a size that is 7-11” larger than this measurement for this design. For example, my bust measurement is 35” and I knit the M, which has a finished measurement of 46.5” giving me 11.5” inches of positive ease as I like my sweaters a bit more oversized. To measure your sleeve circumference, measure your upper arm approximately 3” down from the armpit. The size you choose should have a sleeve measurement 2-3” bigger than your arm measurement.
