A simple, quick Mardi Gras mask for little kids! Great for Mardi Gras celebration or dress-up / pretend play!

You will need:

• crochet hook G/4.0mm
• yarn needle
• worsted weight yarn

Notes:

• Finished size: 6.75” wide x 3.3” height (mask only, not including the feathers)
• Please note I crochet tightly, especially for this mask so the shape stays put. Be sure the two eye circles fit before moving on to Round 1. If it doesn’t, adjust the size of the mask by using lighter/heavier weight yarn and/or smaller/bigger hook size.
• You can also adjust beginning chains, but you will also have to add stitches accordingly.

Format:

• This crochet pattern is available free on the blog as well as in PDF format (4 pages, less than 1 MB in file size) and includes clearly written instructions (easy for beginners to understand), progress photos and stitch count for every round.

• Doriyumi patterns are always written using standard U.S. crochet terminology. An abbreviation chart in U.S. versus U.K./Canada terminology is included in the pattern for your reference.
