The ‘March of the Penguins’ beanie is a double knitted, fully reversible beanie. This makes it thick and delightfully cozy! Perfect for winter. The fabric created has no floats, and the double knitted colourwork lets you choose which colour scheme you want to feature, depending on the day.

This pattern is worked in the round, and includes an overview of double knitting, instructions for double knit specific techniques, and the chart to create the penguin pattern.

Materials needed:

3mm circular knitting needle (40 cm)
3mm Double Pointed Needles
8 ply yarn in 2 colours
(100 grams in each)
Knitting Chart (pg 5)
Stitch markers
Yarn needle
Scissors
Button (optional)

Note: once size of this fits most head sizes, however, if you want it a little larger, move up to 3.25mm needles
