Associated with fishermen of the British Isles, gansey
sweaters were traditionally worn by these seafaring souls
who braved the unforgiving waters of the North Atlantic.
In our modern context, gansey patterns endure, embody-
ing a sense of timeless sophistication and a connection to
a rich history of craftsmanship. The slit in the lower edge
of this gansey-inspired cowl allows it to drape gracefully
and comfortably around your neck and shoulders and
echoes the split hem in some traditional gansey sweaters.
