This cosy winter sweater with a is worked from top down in one piece. Its lovely lace border around the neckline and a backward slit with small buttons are real eyecatchers. The buttons are sewn on only, you won’t have to work buttonholes.

With exception of the lace border this sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch and small garter stitch borders. So it is a perfect project for knitting beginners, too.

• I used Lang yarns „Cashmere Premium” here (100% cashmere, yardage 125 yds 115 m / 25 g); you’ll need 200 (250/275/300/325/350/375) g
• US size 6 4,0 mm circular needles (or any size to obtain gauge), 16”, 32” and 39” 40 cm, 80 cm und 100 cm long

• 8 (8/8/8/10/10/10) buttons, ½” 12 mm diameter
