Many Colors Shawl
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
My inspiration for the shawl came from one of the dresses in my wardrobe: a perfect combination of a plain color and lots of circles at the front.
The shawl itself is crocheted in a simple lacy stitch. The shorter borders are embellished with superposed circles in different colors and shades (crocheted in sc). At the back a surprise: three big circles combining several colors (using dc).
For the sample shawl I have used one stitch pattern called stone trellis (from Crochet Stitches by Robyn Chachula). But now I have written my own lacy stitch pattern that you can find in the pdf file.
I hope you like it!
