Charted version. In this source it is called Amygdalus No. 5918. The instructions are in Dutch. The pattern calls for 20 grams of #150 cordonnet thread, no. 0/0 needles, and a no. 13 crochet hook for a finished size of 30cm; or for 100 grams of thin silk, no. 1-1/2 needles, and a no. 12 crochet hook for a finished size of 75 cm.

The name “Amygdalus” means almond. Mandel is almond in German, so possibly the original German name was Mandelblüte (almond flower) instead of Mandenblute.

This pattern has characteristics that are typical of Herbert Niebling designs.
