Mandala Cowl
Mandala in Sanskrit means a circle. In Buddhism, it symbolizes the never-ending cycle of the universe. The inspiration for this design was to embody the concept of Mandala, a circle of color that wraps us in its warmth.
The Mandala Cowl is knit in a Fair Isle colorwork pattern. The cowl is knit as a tube, and the beginning and end of the tube are seamed together to create a circle that can be wrapped around the neck twice to make for a cozy cowl. The pattern also provides the option to make a long tubular scarf. Attach tassels to the ends of the scarf for a lovely colorwork wrap! The pattern includes charts for the colorwork motif.
