Mallow Pot Covers
Subscribe to my NEWSLETTER to always be the first to get the news, updates, discounts, freebies and more.
The pattern is actually a set – flower pot and a candle cover – because I wanted you to be able to make covers for both common shapes – cylindrical one with the same top and bottom circumference, and the one with the wider top part. The fact is that the candle holder can be used as any cover or cozy – from cans to pot.
You can adjust the size of the Mallow Flower Pot Cover & Candle Cover patterns, to fit pretty much any pot or a container.
Once you get the size you need for the bottom, the rest goes very easily.
Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE. You should be familiar with working different single and double crochets as well as cluster stitches.
Yarn Weight: #3 Light Worsted Weight / DK /14 WPI, double stranded. I used Alize Cotton Gold (3.53 oz / 100 g; 330 m/ 361 yds) per skein, but in fact, you can use any weight yarn for these types of projects.
You can work with one or more strands of the same or different weight yarns.
Hook: 5 mm US H-8, Stitch Markers, Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Measuring Tape.

Bottom Circumference: 9.5 cm / 3.7”
Height: 10 cm /4”
Candle Cover: Bottom /Top Circumference: 8.5 cm / 3.3”
