This beautiful capelet is worked from the bottom up with a wide lace border. The crescent shape is achieved by working a combination of short rows and decreases.
It was designed to feature a button to fasten the capelet in place around the shoulders, but if preferred, this can be worn as a shawl without the button.
It’s knitted in Louisa Harding’s Amitola, a 4ply blend of wool and silk that comes in self-striping colours.
