This sleeveless vest features a striking striped design that is accomplished by combining slipped stitches with stranded knitting on one row. Because the yarn is very soft and incredibly light, the vest is knit in two pieces, from bottom to top, and finished with seams at the sides and shoulders to create a supporting structure. Stitches picked up at the neck and armholes are worked in a narrow ribbing, matching the ribbing at the hem.

Gauge
In Main Stripes pattern on larger needles, 18 sts & 24 rows = 4”/10cm.
Make sure you practice the Main Stripes pattern over several repeats for an accurate gauge result because both slipped stitches and stranded knitting tend to result in reduced stretch of fabric.
