This top is designed to be worn with “Indigo” shrug.
This fitted tee shirt has full length sleeves, extending 2.5cm (1in) below the wrist, also features bust darts, waist shaping and rolled hems on the lower edge, neckline and sleeves. Make it as neat or loose fitting as you choose using the finished measurements as a guide. Omit the waist shaping (at the sides for the Back and darts for the Front) if you prefer a looser fit at the waist.
Being all stocking stitch, the stitch pattern is not demanding but this top does require knowledge of short row shaping for the bust darts. The rolled edges, require temporary cast on, then the hem is folded over twice and for the lower edge and cuffs, three sets of stitches are knitted together to form the roll. For the neckline, the roll is folded and stitched on the inside. Full instructions for the rolls are given in this pattern.
The yarn is still available direct from Jamieson and Smith Shetland Wool Brokers Limited at www.shetlandwoolbrokers.co.uk/epages/BT2741.sf/en_GB/?Obj...” .link text
