Notes:
Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round.
A yarn with no stretch is best, I prefer cotton or cotton blend.
For this pattern, the following yarns were used:
o NUDE = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in col. 403 Champagne White
o YELLOW = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in col. 422 Daffodil Yellow
o ORANGE = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in col. 409 Light Caramel
o GREEN = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in col. 425 Pistachio Green
o BLACK = Scheepjes Catona in “110 Jet Black”
I crochet loosely and use a 2.75-3.00mm hook with 8ply yarn. Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Mae the Flower is approximately 23cm tall (9 inches).
I have embroidered the eyes for this pattern. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
