Madame La Goat is an elegant crescent shaped shawl with simple lace detail and a fancy picot edge. She can be knit in one or many colors and her size is easily adjustable.

Originally designed for the Fuzzy Goat “Box of Goats” now available to everyone!

600 yards of fingering weight wool. 10 grams each of 15 colors, 20 grams each of 10 colors, or 150 grams of 1 color.

US Size 6 (4mm): 32-inch circular needle, or size needed for gauge.
1 opening stitch marker (optional)

Gauge
18 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette, after blocking. Finished measurement and total yarn usage will be affected by gauge. If your gauge is different, you will use more or less of each color, and your finished measurements may be slightly different. As long as you like the fabric being produced, a slight gauge difference is ok.
