Elegant lace wrap with picot edges. In lace weight yarn, this is as light as air. In sport weight, it’s warm and cosy. And if you often buy single skeins of your favorite colors, you’ll love the colorblock version.

Sport weight version: For solid color, 4 skeins, for colorbock, 1 skein each 5 colors sport weight yarn, 246 yards (225m)/100 grams each. Shown in Americo Original Pima Cotton, Baby Suri, Dehaired Baby Llama.
Lace weight version: 2 skeins heavy lace yarn, 634 yards (580m)/100 grams each. Shown in Americo Original Linen Cordon, 65% Linen, 29% Cotton, 5% Silk.
Feel free to substitute other yarn weights
Gauge
Sport 19 stitches and 27 rows = 4”/10cm in lace, blocked
Lace 22 stitches and 32 rows = 4”/10cm in lace, blocked
Gauge is not crucial for this project
Needles
Straight or cirdular needles in the following size:
Sport US 6/4.0 mm
Lace US 4/3.5 mm

Construction Notes
The construction is very simple: a rectangle worked end to end. The borders and edging are worked at the same time as the body of the wrap. The picot effect at the edges is made by casting on and off a few stitches.
