Luode is a casual summer sweater. The sample is made of Aran weight cotton yarn. You can work this pattern as a lighter
version using two strands of light alpaca yarn held together. Take one strand brushed alpaca (or mohair) and one strand light
fingering weight alpaca yarn (or cotton). The tension should be 18 sts on 10 cm (4”).

Luode is worked in the round from the top down. The pattern
features ¾ length raglan sleeves. Easy lace pattern alternates with stockinette stitch. Hem, neckline, and cuffs have k1, p1 ribbing.

Luode sweater has oversized measurements. If you prefer regular fit, knit smaller size, or change to thinner yarn. This pattern is adaptable and can easily be worked with gauge 20 sts = 10 cm (4”). This gauge gives in size M the chest circumference approx. 102 cm (40”).
