Lunisolar Poncho is designed for crocheters who enjoy texture, visual interest, and a project that’s engaging without being fussy. A thoughtfully chosen mix of textured stitches creates a fabric that’s both beautiful and practical, making this poncho as satisfying to wear as it is to make.
The construction is simple: a rectangular panel is worked first, then folded and stitched along one long edge to form the poncho shape, leaving an opening for the neck. Subtle asymmetry adds interest, with the linen stitch border gently narrowing the fabric at each short edge.
The sample was made using two full gradient yarn cakes paired with a coordinating solid colour, worked on a 3.75mm hook. Sizing is easily adjustable by adding additional pattern repeats, just allow extra yarn if you plan to increase the size. Pattern is written in English and uses UK terms.
