This pattern is available in the Sheldon’s Summer of Socks Box from Marianated Yarns.

The rhythmic sound of waves gently crashing against the shore fills the air as I wander through the lush, otherworldly forests of my latest planetary mission. I meticulously catalog the alien LunaFlora, marveling at their strange beauty and unique adaptations. Each species I encounter pulses with bioluminescent colors and sings with a gentle hum, their petals like delicate, iridescent wings. Eventually, a salty breeze and the scent of sunscreen pull me to reality. The sun sets, casting a golden glow over the ocean, and for a moment, the line between reality and imagination blurs. Yet, the joy of creating remains a constant, a bridge between the adventures written in the pages of my book and the simple, grounding act of knitting socks under a familiar sun.

These socks are knit top-down, starting with a ribbed cuff. The heel is shaped with a flap and gusset.
