Luna is a very special heirloom garment that generations will be honored to wear. Designed as a straight cardigan with minimal ease, it is stylish and timeless. Casual or dressed up, Luna can be worn with confidence and grace.

Size options are meant to be inclusive from XS to 5X with less ease as the sizes get larger. Gauge is tight due to the nature of twisted stitches. The cardigan is therefore dense but still soft with some drape. Luna is knit in pieces from the bottom up and then seamed. The button band is added last and done as one band from hem to hem. Stitch patterns are charted.

You will need US Size 2 (2.5mm) needles. For the button band, a 32” (80cm) circular needle is very helpful. Stitch markers are also helpful. The sweater uses seven ⅝“ (1.6cm) buttons and I made it with backer buttons as well.
