This crochet pattern is aimed at intermediate crocheters, but I think adventurous beginners familiar with some special stitches: front post stitches, and clusters; should be able to crochet it too.

This design consists of 37 rounds, and you can make the mandala in solid color or ombre. The mandala measures 60 cm (stretched in the ring) using fingering yarn, with a 2.0 mm hook.

While crocheting the pattern till round 27, the mandala will be 40 cm in diameter. You can achieve this with one skein of Schachenayr Tahiti, approx 250m lace yarn

Materials
Yarn: any lace weight yarn, (50g / 280 m), 2 skeins needed for big mandala, approx. 450 - 475 m
Ring: 60 cm in diameter
Scissors, and tapestry needle to weave in ends.
You can use any similar yarn and suitable hook.

The size of the finished Mandala depends on the yarn and hook you use.
My Mandala made of cotton Schachenmayr Tahiti is approx.
