Before I learned to knit, cross-stitch was my craft of choice.
I always loved designing custom charts, whether using graph paper and colored pencils or software.

Maybe that’s why colorwork, and especially Fair Isle, has always captured my interest.

The Lucky Cowl is designed for a newcomer to colorwork, and experienced knitters will enjoy playing with different color combinations and perhaps even riffing off this pattern to create their own designs.

Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino: 24 sts x 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm after blocking, using US 4/3.5 mm needles, worked in the round in stockinette stitch.

Queensland United: 22.5 sts x 32 rounds = 4”/10 cm after blocking, using US 4/3.5 mm needles, worked in the round in stockinette stitch.
