Modern Daily Knitting Jane, DK weight 1.75 oz (50 g) skeins, each approximately 125 yds (114 m), 75% Falkland wool/25% Masham wool
1, 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) 1, 1, 2, 2 skein(s) each - Juniper, Cameo, Scarlet, Bluebell, Marigold and Shadow, 2, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) 3, 3, 3, 3 skeins of Yorkshire for the stripe pattern and the ribbings.
Gauge 20 stitches and 34 rounds/rows = 4”/10cm in Pattern Stitch,
after wet blocking.
Needles Gauge needle and needles one size smaller for all ribbings.
Sample was knit with 24 - 32”/61 - 81 cm US6/4mm circulars and ribbed with 32”/81cm US5/3.75mm circulars using the magic single loop method.
Swatch with the same needles that you plan to knit the garment with.
My sample is a size 39 and fits with a little ease, and used 240g total; approximately 28g each stripe color, plus almost all of the 2 skeins of stripe/band color.
Notions Assorted stitch markers; 4 to mark decreases/increases, one for the side, and another for the BOR.
Crochet hook and smooth, contrasting waste yarn for provisional cast on.
Several spare needles, cables or cords to hold stitches.
