I worked up this slouchy hat for a friend fighting breast cancer. To protect her privacy, I named it after her cat - a sweet, sly thing who has helped to keep her spirits up. I am offering the pattern for free in the hopes that others will also make it as a gift for someone in need.

The pattern calls for soft cotton, because my friend experienced hair loss in the spring and summer in a hot climate. It’s also sized a bit snug, for people who don’t have hair under their hats. Enjoy!
