This pattern, from my book Haakspiratie, is made crocheting harlequins / lozenges which I attached to a Prym bag bottom. Instead you can also crochet a bag bottom.

UK terminology

The pattern also describes how to sew the fabric for the inside.

Materials I used:

➥ SMC Catania 393 (blue): 6 balls of yarn
➥ SMC Catania 106 (white): 1 ball of yarn
➥ Crochet hook, size 3 mm
➥ Bottom: Prym bag bottom with a diameter of 20 cm and circumference of 76 cm.
➥ Handels: Madeleine (Prym article 615108)
➥ Fabric for the inside, which has to be enough to cover a bottom with a diameter of 20 cm and the main part of the bag: Gütermann Ring a Roses Collection Long Island 647497 (on a roll) or 648558 (per meter), colour 40. Cut a piece that has a width of 78 cm and height of 38 cm (including seam allowance)
➥ Interfacing to add to the firmness of the bag (also 78 x 38 cm,
including seam allowance)
➥ Leftover yarn for the butterflies and flowers
➥ Needle
➥ Scissors

I hope you enjoy making this bag! If you have any questions during crocheting or sewing, please contact me. My mail address is included in the pattern. You can of course also contact me on Ravelry of social media.
