Lowri Cowl
Construction and Design
This cowl is knit seamlessly in the round and is fully reversible with a lovely woven-look linen stitch on one side and a faux seed stitch on the other, despite appearances only one colour is used at time so this is a great colourwork project for beginners as there will be fewer tension issues and no unsightly floats. Linen stitch is very simple to do despite it’s elegant and more complicated appearance, it is perfectly suited to beginners who are comfortable with knitting and purling. The size of this cowl makes it extremely versatile, it can be worn overlapped and tight, pulled down low over the shoulders, folded and worn like a collar or simply as a loose cowl. This cowl design works perfectly with 2, 3 or 5 colours in different repeat options.
