Love is the Answer

The Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop took place April 6th-9th, and this year’s theme was celebrating music. Most importantly, this event was a food shelf drive. The 14 participating yarn shops collected over $60,000 for the area’s food shelves. Well done!

This year’s Yarn Shop Hop theme is celebrating music, and I have, with humble appreciation, selected the song Love is the Answer. I believe it is one of the most inspirational songs ever written. It has helped me through difficult days and brought me more joy in happy times. Check out the lyrics and give it a listen. Please support the artist by purchasing it through iTunes. The cowl is knit with a lightweight cotton tonal yarn, Driftone by Plymouth Yarn. It is beaded, but beads are optional. It’s knit with size 8 circular needles, 40 or 47” length. The projects uses 1200 beads (80 grams). I used TOHO 6/0 round beads, crystal with a rainbow coating.
The beads were purchased at Bobby Bead in Minneapolis.
