Louvre Shawl
The Louvre Shawl is an easy to make lace weight shawl. It has two distinct sections worked in repetition and a beautiful border to finish it off.
The Louvre Shawl is inspired by its namesake the Musée du Louvre. The glass entrance of the museum, translates into the triangular structure of the shawl, while the clear roof gave me the idea to work this pattern with little gaps in it. And the delicate nature of the lace at the border finds its inspiration from the chandeliers in King Louis XIV’s quarters.
