Lotta is a whimsical pair of slippers that knit with white and blue with gold and red is added with embroidery.
Sizes
Women’s 6-8
If you need a larger size, knit with one size larger than gauge sized needle to get 22- or 23 stitches over 4 inches. This will increase the length and the width of the slipper. When the slippers are felted, they don’t shrink in length as much as they do in width. The pattern has finished measurements before and after felting.

Yarn
Raumagarn 3 tr. Strikkegarn, 50 g Off-White 101 (or 105 meters of equivalent DK-weight yarn). 50 g Blue 167 (or 105 meters of equivalent DK-weight yarn) and a small amount of Red 144 and Gold 146 for embroidery

Needles and Hooks
3mm double-point needles or FlexiFlips and a 3mm crochet hook
Additional materials
Darning needle for sewing and embroidery

Gauge
24 stitches = 4 inches or 10 cm, and lightly felted 28 stitches = 4 inches or 10 cm
Please pay attention to the gauge and use whatever size knitting needle you need to in order to obtain the gauge. In teaching a class on these slippers, I have seen knitters use as small as a US 2 needle and as large as a US 5. It is all about the gauge.
