This design is one of my early ones here on Ravelry.

I designed this summer top in 2013. Back then I just recently found out about test knitting and sizing back then was not as inclusive as it is nowadays.

As this pattern is still popular and a timeless, romantic piece of my wardrobe, I decided to re-work the pattern, bring it up to date, in shape and add some bits that make it even more a pleasure to knit and wear.

The sleeveless summer top is worked seamlessly bottom up in rounds. From the underarm section on you divide front and back and finish each in rows with a pretty lace motive.

The lacy hem pattern adds a feminine touch, the V-neck makes it airy even in hot summer days. The cotton yarn comes in a huge variety of colours.

Sizes: 1, 2, 3 (4, 5, 6) 7, 8, 9. To fit bust circumference: 77, 87, 91 (97, 101, 110) 118, 127, 135 cm 30 ¼“, 34 ¼“, 35 ¾“ (38“, 39 ¾“, 43 ¼“) 46 ½“, 50“, 53“ worn with about 5 cm 2“ negative ease.
I wear a size 5 with 4 cm 1 ½” negative ease.

Yarn: 150, 200, 250 (250, 250, 300) 350, 400, 450g Schachenmayr “Catania” (100% Cotton; 125m 136 yds /50 g): Colour of the year 2022 “very peri”

Needles: 4,0mm (US 6): circular 80-100 cm (32”- 40”), or size to obtain gauge
4,5mm (US 7): circular 80-100 cm (32”- 40“)
3 DPNs size 4,0mm (US 6)
3,5mm (US4): circular 80-100 cm (32”- 40”) optional for lace on upper front and back

Notions: 2 markers or more to mark the chart repeats, 1 removeable marker, tapestry needle, scrap yarn, measuring tape.

Dies ist eines meiner ganz frühen Designs auf Ravelry.

Ich habe das Top 2013 entworfen. Damals hatte ich gerade erst herausgefunden, was Teststricks sind und auch Größeninklusivität war damals noch nicht, was sie heute ist.

Die Anleitung ist immer noch beliebt und als zeitloses, romantisches Teil meiner Garderobe unverzichtbar. Ich habe daher entschieden, die Anleitung zu überarbeiten, in Form zu bringen, so dass sie Strick- und Tragefreude verspricht.

Das ärmellose Sommertop wird nahtlos in Runden von unten nach oben gestrickt. Ab dem Unterarm werden Vorder- und Rückenteil getrennt voneinander in Reihen beendet. Hier kommt auch das hübsche Lace-Muster zum Einsatz.

Das Lace-Muster am Bund unterstreicht das feminine Aussehen, der luftige V-Ausschnitt sorgt dafür, dass das Top auch an heißen Sommertagen herrlich zu tragen ist. Die verwendete Baumwolle gibt es in einer großen Farbauswahl.

Passend für Brustumfang: 77, 87, 91 (97, 101, 110) 118, 127, 135 cm 30 ¼“, 34 ¼“, 35 ¾“ (38“, 39 ¾“, 43 ¼“) 46 ½“, 50“, 53“ getragen mit etwa 5 cm 2“ Minderweite.
