Needles
Gauge-size needles for yoke, body and sleeves, 1 mm below-gauge circular needles ribbed neckline, hem and cuffs.
The sample was made using 5 mm (US 8) and 4 mm (US 6), and went up to 5.5 mm (US 9) for the colourwork.

Construction
The sweater is worked top-down, with a few short-rows at the back of the neck, and more at the bottom of the yoke while you increase for raglan. The colourwork itself starts from the top of the yoke. While you work the chart it might be a good idea to change needle size to get the same gauge as you have in plain stockinette, so that the fabric does not get tight there.
