Loretta the Laid Back Lamb
THIS PATTERN JUST CAME OUT ON 1/27/2014. IT IS ON SALE FOR $4 RATHER THAN THE NORMAL $6 UNTIL 2/27/2014.
Alrighty folks. It only took me 7 years of pattern writing, but I finally did it. I wrote a sheep knitting pattern. Sheep, right? I mean as knitters, isn’t like the one creature that makes knitting possible? Yes, there are plenty of other fibers, and plenty of people are allergic to wool, but knitting really all comes down to sheep. So here she is, a knitter’s best friend, Loretta the Laid Back Lamb! Ok, I am going to continue this listing and try to refrain from making any “ewe” or other sheep jokes. Wish me luck, this is going to be tough.
This knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit this darling little lamb. This pattern is so much fun to knit, and this is yet another pattern where I have included instructions on how to to work the critter in one piece so you have minimal finishing. (If this seems terrifying to you, I have also included my normal knit-it-separately-and-sew-it-together-in-the-end directions as well. You pick, but either way, I promise knitting this pattern will make ewe the baaaaa-st knitter around! This pattern is very fun and once you knit one sheep, you will find you want to knit a whole flock! Especially since once your friends and any kids you know see your finished lamb they are going to start putting in requests for their own. And every single one of your knitting friends definitely needs a sheep of their very own. Um, hello Christmas presents?
