“This wrap was inspired by the lace net curtains in Lorelai Gilmore’s living room in the hit TV series Gilmore Girls,” explains Kath Andrews. “We often see these lit from behind when the main characters are on the porch in the evenings. Worked in one piece from end to end using a laceweight Shetland wool, this wrap gives the knitter a satisfying challenge which blocks out beautifully once complete. The repetition and placement of motifs gives the wrap balance, and wide garter stitch borders stop the fabric from curling inwards.”
