This is a beginning knitter’s pattern for a beautiful, but not typical, scarf. It is actually knit lengthwise and using bulky (#5) yarn makes it go super fast. Make it as the pattern calls for, or make it even wider or narrower and create more stripes or none at all. The inspiration is from a scarf worn by Lorelai on a Gilmore Girls episode.
