Loom Knit Cabled Hat and Scarf
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Cables are classic on hats and scarves. They add texture and interest, and are incredibly easy to knit on the knitting board. By simply having stitches switch places you can create intricate designs. Even if you’ve never done cables before, you’ll find this pattern fun and rewarding.
Materials
Knitting Loom: Small gauge double sided knitting board with at least 48 pins(youth/average adult hat), and 20 pegs (scarf). The 10” and 18” Authentic Knitting Boards set at standard (1/2”) spacer setting were used in the sample.
Yarn: 450 yards total of worsted weight yarn (140 yards for hat, 310 yards for scarf). Knit Picks Swish Worsted (Amethyst Heather) was used in sample.
