LONG ISLAND TWILLY
Your summer scarfette, ribbon & cocktail all-in-one!
This is a little skinny neck scarfette or tote ribbon! It is perfect for using up any leftover yarn or that special skein that’s been waiting to hop on your needles. It is worked tip to tip, to desired length.
The Twilly was introduced in 2003 as a playful twist on the classic Hermès silk scarf, designed to be worn in creative, modern ways. Let’s get creative!
The pattern has full written and chart instructions, together with a cocktail recipe by yours truly!
The Long Island Twilly can be worked with any yarn and any gauge. My suggestion to you is to cast on the pattern and work the Beginning Tip. If the edge stitches look too loose for your liking, rip it out and start over with a smaller needle. See sample yarn and needle information below.
